Self-Cleaning UV-C Water Bottle, Insulated Stainless Steel with Touch Display

A 500 ml vacuum insulated stainless steel bottle with a UV-C LED built into the cap, which runs a cleaning cycle inside the bottle at the touch of the lid. The body is a triple layer build: a painted outer skin, a double walled 18/8 stainless shell and a 316 stainless inner surface. Vacuum insulation holds drinks hot or cold for up to 24 hours, and the cap shows the contents temperature on a touch display. Three colors.

Key features

• UV-C cleaning cycle in the cap: tap the lid once for a 60 second cycle or twice for 180 seconds, and it runs an automatic cycle every two hours, which is what stops a refilled bottle going stale between washes.
• Touch temperature display: shows the contents temperature on the cap, color coded blue below 35C, orange from 36 to 50C and red above 50C, so you know before you drink whether coffee is still scalding.

Important

This is a self cleaning bottle, not a water purifier or a filter. The UV-C cap is intended to keep the inside of the bottle clean between refills. It does not make unsafe water safe to drink: it does nothing about chemical contamination, heavy metals or sediment, and ultraviolet light is far less effective in cloudy water. Fill it from a drinking water supply. The bottle also has a total dissolved solids reading, which is an indication of mineral content only and is not a test of whether water is safe.
